I am a post-doctoral fellow at Center for Climate and Resilience Research, Geophysics Department, University of Chile and I got my Ph.D. in regional climate change and its modeling at Eurasia Institute of Earth Sciences, Istanbul Technical University in 2013. I was also a visiting Ph.D. at Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, Hamburg-Germany between February 2012 and January 2013.My research interests lie in the fields of regional climate changes, hydroclimatology, land-atmosphere interactions, extreme weather events and atmospheric teleconnections. I have been working primarily on regional climate changes and their modeling. My general research question is what the regional consequences of climate change are and how this affects society through impacts on a number of different social, cultural, and natural resources. This main research question has been addressed via modeling, data analysis and visualization tool
